Douglas Fir - Three 18”x24” Originals

I’m a 47-year-old Douglas Fir from East Sooke region.

You might already know this, but you can count the rings of a tree to learn its age. The rings in my center are from when I was just a sapling, whereas those nearest to the outside are the most recent. The size of each ring and space between them vary based on the weather conditions during the year. The black rings represent my winter growth, and the white rings represent my summer growth. Notice that the size and space between each ring is smaller near the center compared to the outer rings. This is because I enjoyed sunshine and lots of water over the past 11 years.

Each original comes with a copy of your tree’s story.
