Douglas Fir - 11”x14” Original

I’m a 77-year-old Douglas Fir from the East Sooke region.

Between the ages of 32 to 43 years, I didn’t get much water, so I didn’t grow very much. That’s why my rings are close together. After enduring this hard time in my youth, the rest of my life I never went thirsty or hungry for sunlight again, as evident by my tidy, evenly spaced rings.

The black rings represent my winter growth; whereas the white rings represent my summer growth.

Each original comes with a copy of your tree’s story.
